Oils for slip lines
Shell Tonna are additive petroleum oils with exceptionally good adhesion. They have good viscosity-temperature dependence and high oxidation stability. They provide excellent protection against corrosion and wear. Special additives prevent jerky shear movements and allow smooth and continuous movement even at very low sliding speeds and very fine adjustment. The oils are characterized by good de-emulsification properties and are compatible with water miscible machining fluids. They are suitable for lubricating the slideways of machine tools, especially machines with slideway surfaces coated with synthetic plastic materials.
