Silkal 93 is a physiologically harmless and skin-inert silicone oil with versatile use. It is suitable for normal and special lubrication of e.g. bowden, plain bearings, ski bindings, locks and lock liners, some electrical materials, screw threads, sewing machine parts, looms, chemically or thermally stressed agitators, machine tools and many others. It is used as an ideal separator in the moulding and casting of plastics, resins and rubber products.
Silkal 93 effectively facilitates wire and cable pulling. Compared to mineral oils, Silkal 93 does not lose its excellent utility properties even at temperatures below 0°C and above 150°C and resists oxidation even at higher temperatures. Silkal 93 leaves a fine water-repellent film on the treated surface, perfectly protecting leather, chrome, nickel-plated, plastic and other materials from moisture.
Silkal 93 contains a high percentage of silicone - 20% of the total volume.
